Part 09 — Interview

How to deploy all of the above.

This part is the deployment layer for everything else in the book. It assumes you have read the parts you intend to be questioned on, and turns them into answers.

  1. The Interview Playbook — how to structure an answer, how to talk about a project you built, how to handle a question you do not know, and the difference between a definition answer and an engineering answer.
  2. Question Index — all 255 interview questions from every chapter of the book, one line each, with a link to the chapter that answers it, plus a per-part coverage table. Use it to audit what you can and cannot defend, then reopen only the chapters that fail.

The rule this part enforces: an answer that only names a technique is worth very little. Name the problem it solves, the cost it imposes, and the alternative you rejected — that is the answer that survives follow-ups.

Depends on: the parts you intend to be questioned on; it introduces no new material.

Where this leads: nowhere — this is the last part.
